Canceling an Accepted Assignment

  1. Go to EasyConnect > Assignments Accepted.
  2. Click on the assignment you wish to cancel.
  3. At the bottom of ‘Assignment Details’, you’ll find a box to enter your reason for canceling the assignment. Please fill this out.
  4. Click Confirm Cancellation to cancel the assignment.
  5. Once canceled, you will see a confirmation message on your screen, and an email will be sent to you confirming the cancellation of your assignment.

I do not see an option to cancel my assignment

Please contact a representative from your school board directly to deactivate the assignment.

To do so, you can click Reply All on the assignment confirmation email and request the cancellation of your assignment. This email will be sent to school administrators who can deactivate the assignment for you.

If you don’t see a “Reply All” button on the assignment confirmation email, please contact an office manager or the administrative department at the school location you're working at to deactivate the absence for you.

NOTE: Your employer may block you from accepting another assignment within the same time frame of your cancellation. Please contact your employer directly to review these settings before canceling your assignment.
