Join us for an exclusive in-person workshop at ApplyToEducation's head office. In the morning, learn how to effectively integrate AI into your recruitment process, followed by "Campus Recruitment 101," tips and tricks for developing a successful campus recruitment strategy.
In the afternoon, you will have two sessions to choose from:
1. Learn about ATE's newest modules: Attendance Support and Missed Planning Time, or
2. Participate in a workshop where you can draft your own campus recruitment strategy. This session will expand on the details covered in the "Campus Recruitment 101" session from the morning.
This hands-on workshop will provide actionable insights, real-world examples, and collaborative sessions to help you attract top talent.

Nathan Laurie, Co-founder of ApplyToEducation, will provide a step-by-step guide to building a successful campus recruitment strategy. This session is a must-attend for anyone recruiting new graduates and early-career teachers. We will discuss:
- Effective strategies for connecting and building relationships with students, recent graduates, career centres, and faculty staff.
- How to create compelling job postings that attract top talent
- Approaches to enhance employer branding and increase visibility on campus.

Who Should Attend: Ideal for School Boards looking to simplify how they manage HR processes relating to their employees.
Missed Planning Time - 50 minutes
This module went live in March, 2025.
See how School Boards have simplified tracking and paying back Missed Planning Time.
- Employees enter Missed Planning Time to ensure it was done per your policies and procedures.
- P/VPs approve and pay back Missed Planning Time at their school.
- HR can review Missed Planning Time balances by location and employee to track which ones need to be repaid.
Generating automated reports with activity logs gives you a rock solid foundation to manage Missed Planning Time that Google Docs or SharePoint cannot offer.

Breakout Session 2: Campus Recruitment Workshop

Who should attend: HR staff with responsibility for hiring new grads including human resource staff, recruiters, principals, and vice principals.
In this session, you will create a first draft campus recruitment plan tailored specifically for your organization. We will utilize the key insights gained from the morning session and adapt them to suit your school board.
This interactive discussion will focus on:
- Identifying recruitment challenges and brainstorming solutions
- Developing a structured approach to engaging new talent
- Sharing successful strategies and best practices with other attendees
